D'Sampan Cafe @ Parit Raja

Idk if being hidden actually has meaning behind it.
Whether that person is ashamed of you or to protect you from false accusations,
that's the thing.
You'll never know. You can never be sure of something.

Anyway! Speaking of hidden stuff & such, there's this retro cafe located in Parit Raja. Tell ya what, when we arrived there, it doesn't even look fancy on the outside.
Gotta say the exterior made us felt doubtful.
But as you stepped inside, they actually have unique decorations. On their ceiling, around the cafe itself & even on their door. A plane as well hung by string on the ceiling.
Even their tables are fancy.

Named D'Sampan Cafe, they were screaming pirates through the decorations & the interior. I guess that's why the exterior & even the signboard looks like they were about to fall anytime soon. It's a pirate theme ayyyyy?

Creative murals with a furious jaws. Rawr. Lol how does sharks even sounds like?

Perhaps they were in renovating process since there's no signboard stating that the cafe itself is D'Sampan. It's literally a plain plank behind Ayah's head. Plain & wooden. How do I know it's D'Sampan then? Eh kamon, Waze :p

Careful on throwing the darts. You might miss the target & it'll end up on the cashier's head.

It looks like a shack or a cabin or a playground lmao idk but the spot seems to attract people. Pirateeeee-y hahahaha

Aw. Sorry folks! I forgot to take pictures of their menu. But trust me, it is way cheaper than other places with western food. They're affordable. Thumbs up!

The table is actually a barrel! Except it is way bigger than the standard size of a normal barrel. Teh O Panas (RM 0.80) as usual belongs to Ayah. Where else wei to find Teh O does not even reach RM1?! I don't fancy carrot, but I started to learn to drink Carrot Susu (RM2.00) instead because someone insisted it's for my eyes blah blah blah. As for Ma, she likes sour-y stuff. She had Apple Asam Boi for the night (RM2.50)

Nasi Goreng USA (RM5.50)

It's my first time though seeing fried rice served with french fries. Have you guys ever seen one?

Aglio Olio Seafood (RM6.90)

Recommended!! Looks bland but they tasted the best amongst the three.

Chicken Chop (RM7.00)

I'm a picky eater actually & the Chicken Chop does not really match with my taste. It feels like the coating came from the instant flour (the ones you can buy in any store) & there's this how do I say it. Tangy? Pungent taste..? on my tongue after chewing them. It was edible nonetheless! Except I couldn't finish them so my parents did it for me heheh. Aglio Olio wins! Yay!

The plating & the serving was not messy at all. They were served neat & clean.
Which makes the cafe even better by seconds.

Happy tummy, happy me!
