Eat & Repeat Cafe @ Shah Alam

That moment when you thought when you reach University life, you don't have to carry all those heavy books anymore as you did when you were in high school but you're hundred percent wrong. Wrong prediction wei. Hahaha

They are lesser, yes but they're heavier. Waaaaaaay too thick and they look scary since we were told to do it from cover to cover.
Let's just hope I won't shed tears when I go through every pages.

Last week we went out to buy the books from this bookstore called ABA Bookstore; the common bookstore for UiTM students tbh. It may look small but they got all kind of textbook the students need though.

Being me, here's the late review. I had so many things to do & when I get sleepy, I can't afford to type anything in here. Sowwy bloggyyyy sowwwyy.

The rest of my classmates decided to eat fast food that day but since me & Bella already had fast food recently, we went to other direction & found a cafe where people kept on going in & out of it. Curious, we went to take a closer look.

I thought it was a vape shop & I don't fancy eating surrounded with any types of vapor. You know that kind of place where people eat & inhale-exhale whatever they are holding or sell stuff related to the flavor & item. Somehow it feels wrong as I read their signboard but then there were actually nothing unpleasant inside. It's just a kedai makan & that's it. Which I felt relieved. Ehe.

And the good news is, they're affordable. Regardless for students or for family. It's the same concept as Boat Noodle except ALL servings & beverages is only RM1.90. Quite reasonable kan?

Pardon my roommate, Bella. She's a bit shy when it comes to taking a single picture.

 Ai iz shy oso :p

As you can see, it's not that spacious but we can still eat at ease. Not to the extend you're not comfortable. I actually love cafes that have a lot of deco on their wall. As in doodle/typography-- framed or glued on the wall. Mama once said my preference described my mind. Serabut. Hahahaha.

Mind you this is the layout of two people's orders, not six xD

 Perhaps, delighted? Muahaha.

 Laksa (RM 1.90)
Delish!

 Kepak Ayam Tandoori (RM 1.90)
RECOMMENDED. SO GOOD WEI. Or it might just be because of my love towards chicken wing hehe.

 Nasi Lemak Telur (RM 1.90)
A picante sambal? If you can't handle hot type of sambal, I won't recommend you to order this one.

 Nasi Goreng Cina (RM 1.90)

 Soto Ayam (RM 1.90)

 Mee Bandung (RM 1.90)

Brownies + Ice Cream (Rm 1.90)
Not sure if it's worth it because the brownies can be eaten in one bite only hahahaha oh well, I guess it's okay for the price.

Honestly, we were full. Even though it was served in a small bowl but their portion wasn't that bad. As for the service, the cashier was the smiley type but the waitress ignored us & walked coldly when we asked which one is Mee Celup which one is Mee sup which one is Mee Kari which one is Mee Bandung (some look the same since all of them were placed on the table altogether)

Any respond? Nope, she glared instead of answering. It was not even packed that she had to rush or anything. Lenggang je punz but for you to treat customers like that. Hek eleh.

So, the waitress sucks.

And our tummies were happy as well~ Ah! I forgot to mention about the beverage. Quite disappointed with the Sarsi/Oren/Aiskrim Soda because they are actually cordial drinks. As in you have to add water in order to serve them. I really thought it's a carbonated drink but then again, in their menu it does not mention they are soft drinks. So, keep in mind that they are actually cordials. Nonetheless, my mango drink was somewhat competent.

Kalau agak agak wallet tengah ringan, you can just go here. No regrets ;)

Babah & Co @ Shah Alam

Thursday, March 09, 2017 Nas 0 Comments

I know someone who calls their father, Abah.
To make it more friendly, it becomes Babah sometimes.
I call my father, Ayah.

How do you address your father?

When my parents departed from here, I sent them off at my college entrance’s gate. I waved them goodbye, giving equal kisses to both of them. It feels heavy on the inside, staring as they walked away with hope & trust on me.

Ayah pressed on the fact on how I have to struggle even though it is just my first semester. So I nodded in return.

Ayah looked calm & when I thought Ma felt the same, I was wrong.

She called me 10 minutes after I reached my room & sniffed all the way while giving advices & such. I guess all fathers & mothers will act like that when they send their child away xD

To be honest, I left lots of stuff back in my room lmfao then I was scolded by them hahahaha. My Cuina & Cu Lee came to send my Mikoooooo. Now everything is going to be hunky-dory because my big teddy is heeeereeeee yiippey!

I got to fill in my tummy with good food on that day. Can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Explains why my introduction is about daddieesssss. This one restaurant/cafe called Babah & Co. Even their interior & exterior design are classy af. I did not get to take any shots inside since we decided to be served outdoor. Both sides are nice though.

Would you just excuse my face & there's my Cuina~

Cu Lee's Carbonara (RM 20.00)

 Cuina's Bolognese (RM 21.00)

I don't really fancy pasta/spaghetti therefore I can't really evaluate the taste but I heard Cu Lee said the bolognese was well matched. The taste that you won't find in common. Not too sweet & not that sour as well. Just nice.

 Fried Yin Yong (RM 12.00)

RECOMMENDED BECAUSE I LOVE THEM. Ehehehe. The seafood portion was quite nice too! & the gravy won't make you feel queasy afterwards. Make sure you order plain water as well since the beverage might have saccharine flavor.

Oreo Cookies & Cream (RM 15.00)

They were upset because instead of 2 pieces of oreo, it was only 1- cracked in half. So both of them charged for the oreo together. Idk who won lol.

 Melty Hersheys (RM 15.00)

Mine tasted so good. Gosh, I ordered the right food, the right drink for the day. 3 pieces of chocolates for me yay buuuuuut there's more on the inside! With the small chunks of Hershey's chocolate & the taste of the chocolate drink, I fell in love. Note that I am indeed a chocolate maniac.

In a process of transferring mushroom to the other plate :p

LG240 here!

Sunday, March 05, 2017 Nas 0 Comments

Assalamualaikum.

Guess who’s back after going through a hectic week?
Gosh.

I can’t really describe my feelings while I type this entry.  More like, I’m out of words.
Acah je. I might write a damn long paragraph later on  :p

Furthering my degree in UiTM Shah Alam, I have to say I’m thankful enough to receive the offer letter from their side. Back then, when my hope was so high, I got myself disappointed when I got rejected. Be it UPSR, PMR, SPM & even STPM.
I cried a river. Then I decided to work & kinda had the thought to just continue working.

Therefore, I hoped for nothing.

Somehow, He knows what’s the best for us. And I think I couldn’t argue on that one.
Taking LG240 English for Professional Communication (EPC) under APB faculty (Akademi Pengajian Bahasa), I’ll be sure not to play around this time.

I’m still trying to do my best on adapting. It’s not like the place is unfamiliar or anything. Although I worked in a field where I had to entertain customer, the introvert side of me are still there.

There will be time when I wanted to snuggle under the blanket, living in the darkness, hating the fact that I have to meet eyes with strangers as we talk. I even hold the record as in almost the whole day hiding & laying down under my bed weh because I hate to interact to anyone. No kidding.

I overcome those fear by bits. Being hyper then the next second I went mute. 360 degree change. Of course the fear is still there. Sometimes tryna take over. Guess I’ll have to do my best to survive here.

We went for a walk with the seniors earlier this morning. This place is soooo damn huge. The buildings are just the same to me I couldn’t differentiate if it’s not for the signboard lmao. Wonder how long it’ll take for me to get used to the routes though.

Therefore, this will be my first time staying apart from my family!
All of us are taking different courses, which makes it more fun ehehe.

Yet to register any sport activities nor the classroom spot or wtv they are called. Tomorrow’s the day though. There’s this building called Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB) Bangunan Korea.

Why Korea?  Yet to figure that out as well but they do have Korean’s flag as the symbol on the building. It’s not that far from Main Gate 2. BUT, for APB, there are 3 buildings & they’re kinda bersepah inside here. That’s what the seniors said lmao. So we have to look at our schedule carefully & such~
Can’t wait for tomorrow! Wonder how it’ll goes for the rest of the semester.

Here’s my roommate. (from left) Kak Fayyad [Perak], Farhana [Sabah] & Nabila [Terengganu]
