'Waste-eners'
Howdy people!
Gosh, I’ve been so caught up in lots of things that I forgot
that my blog exists. And since I won’t be working tomorrow, I got time to
update yay!
Oh, I got myself a job. Nope, not in a supermarket anymore.
But a restaurant! Or a café. Uh in between?
No luck for me to further my deg for now but nahh, it’s
okay. Every cloud has a silver lining (wink)
Therefore, I decided to work. Another unfortunate thing that
happened to me lately, I got myself into a severe food poisoning! I never threw
up more than 5 times like I did that day. Nauseated, gagged & even a
stomach flu. It was the worst of sickness that I ever experienced.
I got around 6 or 7 medicine tau from the doc. Sobs. Bapak
banyak nak kena telan.
Due to the horrible ‘nightmare’, I kinda had a second
thought on continuing my plan to go on a food hunt. You see, I didn’t eat at a random
stall beside the road, neither at a restaurant that is dirty (as in looked
dirty by naked eyes lol) . It was a restaurant that is always full of people, a
so-called 5 stars food place. Yet! I kena food poisoning wei just by eating
ketam uhuk huk huk
So, I don’t know. I might tak nak dah explore all the
foodies out there except if I ‘accidentally’ eat outside then the serving looks
good and such, I might post about it. Or else, bye bye. Hahaha.
As for the experience so far, I experienced one! Co-workers
told me that it never happened before & it was the first. And I was the one
who confronted the situation!
Excited kan tanda seru bersepah.
Okay, it was weekend. Of course it was full of people &
orders started to pile up. As for the concept, basically fully outdoor but half
of the restaurant got zinc roof so if it rains, they’ll scrambled to fit in
under the spot under the roof.
While the waiter & waitress rushed here & there to
serve food & took orders from the customers, a girl raised her hand to me.
Signalling that I should come to her. So I did.
Her friend’s order was served but hers, was not. I told her
to wait for a sec & checked with the kitchen. I saw it myself that people
in the kitchen were super-duper busy. Cooking this, cooking that, grilling &
etc. After a few minutes, she called me again. Whining that she was hungry, she
waited for so long yada yada yada. So I went to the kitchen again & waited for her food & let other waiters to serve the rest of the customers.
5 minutes passed, her meal was served on the tray & I
walked as fast as I can to reach her table. As soon as I placed the plate on
the table & mouthed “Sorry, lambat—“
She smirked though, “Sorry—taknak”
Then she poured her drink on top of the fresh-served Chicken
Grill. Dude, she poured lime water until the Chicken Grill became watery. I was
not surprised that she was mad & tried to supress her anger. She can just
refuse it or even reject it so she won’t have to pay but instead, she ruined
the food. In other words, she ruined the rezeki herself. In the end, of course
she had to pay for the food. Aside from she wasted her money; she wasted the
food as well.
I wasn’t surprised when she wanted to argue as she paid for
the meal since back then I used to encounter a lot of ‘weird’ customers. Macam
macam perangai ada but I was surprised that how can someone be so senseless
that a food can be thrown away just like that just because you wanted to
protest. It might just be RM10 for you & it was nothing. But to other
people, it might be their meal for two-three days. Or even a week!
You might want to follow the ‘western style’ with the
so-called attitude, but am sorry lady, that was not proper in a country that
populated with Muslim and you’re one as well.
As for myself, I learned a lot in a week. About the hygiene
matters, the quantity of food that I eat so that I won’t waste em, the mental
state to work with assholes & dickheads and a lot more to come! Hahaha. Oh,
I got myself a new nickname. Layang-layang. Wtf?
Ugh, I only use my body to work & sleep, that’s why I
can never run away from the gastric thingy. I’m eating a piece of bread as I
type here ehehe.
It’s 2 in the morning! Le bed iz callin~~
